Rushport acts for a number of LIFT Companies across England. Our service to LIFT clients involves Rushport acting alongside the Project Deliver Team, starting at the early project conception stages and includes making recommendations on land purchases, advising on pharmacy licensing and the NHS Regulations, consideration of key financial terms and assisting in lease negotiations. We run the project all the way through to the successful opening of the pharmacy and, in some cases, our involvement can continue for some time after the pharmacy has actually opened in order to ensure that any legacy issues are properly dealt with.
In 2011/12 Rushport worked closely with a substantial LIFT Company to deliver 3 new Health Centre schemes via a single financial close process, with all three completions happening within 3 months of each other.
Securing a pharmacy tenant for each of the 3 locations involved a procurement process that satisfied the requirements of the public sector partners and also ensured market leading commercial terms for all the LIFT Company shareholders. Rushport also advised the pharmacy companies on the various applications for new pharmacy licences and relocations of existing licences.
All 3 centres opened as planned with the new pharmacy tenant in place.
